Lisa is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with over 25 years of comprehensive experience. Licensed across Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and New Mexico, her expertise spans a broad demographic range, working with clients of all ages. Lisa’s practice is rooted in the understanding that individual needs and perspectives are shaped by personal relationships, cultural backgrounds, environmental influences, and community experiences.
Lisa has specialized in childhood and relational trauma, substance abuse, and various mental health concerns, including recurring anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and low self-esteem. She uses evidence-based practices like Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) family therapy model.
Lisa has experience working with individuals with physical disabilities and has led therapy groups for those who have experienced sexual trauma and trauma-related disorders, providing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
